Special Chain Float with 7 Balls made of Titanium

This titanium chain float is a very unusual construction, which required a special "cage construction" due to the large number of balls.

Normally, the construction of chain floats in the high-pressure sector is nothing unusual. However, the difficult with several balls is holding the complete construction in an axis. Otherwise the float runs the risk of buckling and the freedom of movement within a pipe could be affected, which makes the measurement unqualified.

With a cage construction made of titanium, any number of balls are used to fill it (depending on the limits of size / volume requirement and fluid densities).

The float balls were also welded in a special procedure. In the top ball, there is a magnet, which subsequently actuates the magnetic valves for the bypass level indicator.
