Magnetic level float
Magnetic floats are used to detect dynamic fluid levels, either as single floats in homogeneous media or as interface level detectors in fluids with different densities.
Magnetic floats have a magnet inside and are placed on a guiding rod. For interface level detection, several floats can be placed on one single guiding rod.
The magnetic level float actuates the detection circuit either by means of a reed contact or - for a more accurate reading - a magnetostrictive sensor.
We produce both magnetic switches for reed contacts and magnetic floats for magnetostrictive sensors.
