Liquid level measurement

In general, fluid level measurement denotes the detection of a certain (dynamic) level rather than a maximum or minimum limit. In most cases, this is realised by using magnetic floats that glide on a guiding rod and move along with the liquid's surface. The guiding rod contains a sensor device (a reed switch or a magnetostrictive sensor) that detects the fluid level.
