Level float for float switches

Unlike dynamic level detectors, level float switches are mainly used to sense a static (e.g. maximum or minimum) level of liquid within a tank. The signal is actuated by either a magnetic (contactless) or electric sensor. For safety reasons, contactless magnetic sensors are often used with dangerous (e.g. explosive) media.

However, level floats can also be used in purely mechanic devices known as "float valves" to open or close an inlet in relation to a certain fluid level.

All our level floats for float switches are made according entirely to your individual specifications, e.g. with mounting rod, threaded or hinged mounting bracket etc.

Type, size and material of the float are subject to customers' requirements and the nature of the task.
